HAIFA UNIVERSITY LEADS NEW INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM RESEARCH PROJECT
The international research project, led by the University of Haifa and funded by the EU with a total budget of €6 million, is developing a computerised system that will enable patients who require close monitoring, to undergo real-time monitoring in their home environment, through mobile phone or internet; and to assist medical teams in providing treatment according to state-of-the-art clinical guidelines via the computerised system, thereby minimising the need to hospitalise patients for monitoring sessions...
